The highly automated panel line is one of the most efficient in Canada.  Our crane and transporter capability is optimised for large modular construction. 

Although Seaway Marine & Industrial Inc. is Canada's most experienced constructor of "Lakers", the facilities can be adapted as necessary to meet the requirements of sea-going vessels and special purpose craft. 

The "Shelf", our shallow dry-dock, is operated separately from our deep dry-dock, permitting shipbuilding and ship-repair to continue simultaneously without intereference.

Sister companies, Allied Marine & Industrial (precision machining and machinery repairs), Canal Marine & Industrial (electrical and electronic equipment and integration) and Hamilton Marine & Industrial (Steel fabrication) are strategically located along the Welland Canal to augment the shipyard capability or provide independent top-side repairs.
